ok so great info on LED lights n stuff..

but how the check do u replace em? mine have been blown since.. god knows but yea i want to put a blueish/white LED in it so my plate is more visible.

 

i really like this thread, my lights have been blown since i got my car and i never even thought about replacing them tell know.

 

sorry to bring this thread back, but i want to change out the reverse bulbs to led bulbs. which one should i look for on superbrightleds.com?

 

Well guys I've had 2 of the WLED 6-LED bulb
12 VDC 6-LED Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type) license plate bulbs go on me within the past year, I guess I am glad that these bulbs have a 1 year warranty....

 

Just bought Polarg M4s. Will report once received and installed.

 

can someone do diy on replacing the license plate light, when i unscrewed my thing, i didn't know what to do next lol.

 

You don't need to unscrew them. If you look closely you can see there is a little gap on the plastic (I believe it's the back side) and all you need to do is pop it off with a flathead screwdriver.

 

Does anyone know the part # for the Maplight replacement on Superbrightled.com?

In the dome there is one festoon bulb 31mm, and 2 BA9's

so i got these polarg LED's for free... sweet i thought. my lisc plate lights went out anyway... their supposed to be white. when i put them in and turned everything on it looks like a 8-10k HID lol. lil too blue'ish for my taste but can't complain, lights work at least.
