There was no clearance problem until I installed a camber kit, then there was a lot of scaping in the rear (275s), and some scrubbing at full lock in the front. Zero rubbing now whatsoever even during high speed cornering/braking or even at lock into parking lots and stuff and my tires are wearing evenly now. It's golden.

You wouldn't want to shave them all they way to the edge, that's for sure.

I had to cut my fenders, i took out the old angle grinder and in a matter of 35 min all of my fenders were cut. If you plan on cutting them with an angle grinder take your time and keep your hand steady(else youll risk shaving your paint).I also masked my fenders and quarter panel with news paper so that the hot bits don't melt into my paint. my wheel and tire sizes are 285/35/19's in the back and 245/40/19's in the front on stock suspension (for now).

I rolled mine...no paint cracking..and it is rolled up all the way 90 degrees...basically it's parrallel to the outside fender. All i used was a bat...and tennis grip to have a softer contact with the bat.

Default Ouch

I have not posted in a while been working on other projects since I felt like my SC was done.

I cut my fenders and was happy with the result. However I was helping a buddy of mine move to LA and Guess what???? I got my rear fender crunched pretty good. The moving truck backed into it. Wasted my rear 10.5" HRE wheel too Anyway the fender walls separated pretty wide. I imagine it will make the fenders more difficult to repair. I'll post a pic or two in a day or so. All the comments about weakening the fender are correct with respect to how well they hold up when damaged.

hehe of all the cars I have owned the SC is the biggest crap magnet. Something is alaways happening.
1st SC Stolen
2nd SC hit deer,fixed,totaled
3rd SC hit twice already
in 3 years

Got a new lip on the Wheel too that was looking ugly.

Plus I got $1000 left over. So I made out.

You've got baby offset Kyo thats why your not rubbing, you went bigger, not wider... Although, even tire wear sounds REALLY nice, as mine wear completely fubar.

Had some rubbing after adding spacers out back, so I just rolled my rears the old fashioned way. Good weekend project. Working on the fronts next.
