97 gauge panels
i know in the 98 SC's the dash gauges has that clean LED look compared to the prior older SC's. i was wondering if the 97 SC's had the 98 gauge look (since it shares the same body kit) or does it have the older style gauges?

no i mean the GAUGES
there are the 98+ looking LED STYLE gauges and the OLDER ONES that look more outdated. but was wondering how the 97 SC's GAUGES were? "LED STYLE" or "OLDER OUTDATED" look?

97+ dash!!
The light...that you think is LED...is a cathode on the back of the gauge panel...that's what gives the 97+ that LED look. its far more expensive than LED's
If you have a 96 or older car, your going to want the 97' dash so the auto shift lights match.
or get some new white LED's from Lextech and use the dash you have

The 97+ has the electroluminescent display whereas the 92-96 has the standard backlighting with incandescent bulbs which are much more yellow and not as bright. It's a pretty noticeable difference Ryan.. lest you're colorblind.. =P
