Driver side window and speaker help!
I've searched and couldn't find any solutions..
So the problems goes, after spending 200 dollars to fix my passenger door that does not open from the outside (I broke something ), my driver side window stopped working after I picked it up from the shop.
The LED switch on the driver side window works, I can use the switch to open and close the passenger side window, the mirror, the window lock, but the driver window doesn't open/close. After I opened and closed the door, the driver side window worked again. I opened the door again and it didn't worked. Closed the door, still doesn't work. I asked my trusty mechanic and he said they didn't touch the driver side door. Any ideas? I saw post where people spent several hundreds on new motor, new switch, but still doesn't work.
As for the speaker, the left midrange speaker does not play. The front left tweeter works fine, and the rear left speaker plays very softly. Right side is perfectly fine. Any ideas? I was thinking, if it was the amp or headunit...then the front left tweeter shouldn't work as well....right?
Any input would be very helpful, thank you

Blown Speaker?

aznxenon, Most likely the speaker has blown. Disconnect the current non-working speakers and hook up working speakers (4ohm) to test. It's a pain and long process to gain access to the door speakers, but it's the only to be sure. Buy some cheap 4ohm speakers at Wal-mart for testing, then bring them back for a refund. I did this for my blown rear speaker a few weeks ago.
