I'm not sure if im looking in the wrong places, but i have yet to find a manual SC300 for sale in Ontario. Is there a reason for this? If there is, does anyone know where i can get my hands on one or where i should start to look?

 

Wasn't available for the Canadian market. Best place to look is probably here on CL and import it from the US. It's not that hard.

 

Yea, I'm in Vancouver and have been looking myself for a while. I've only come across one, a '97 and it was imported from the states. Unfortunatly it was too rich for my blood. I've been looking in the US alot, but havent found anything for me as of yet. And the search continues...

 

nope sc300 in general never came to canada, i have an SC3 MT registered in Ontario that I had to import in, I dunno if anyone else in Ontario has a M/T SC300

 

Short answer: You won't find one here.

Why?

SC300's were not sold on the Canadian market. The Canadian-spec cars were SC400's with every option. The only option was the rear spoiler. If you want an SC300 with the W58, your best bet is to get one from the states.... Or you could find an R154 (5-speed) Soarer. I know of one for sale in Ontario, but its in very, very rough condition. There is a nice manual Soarer on Kijiji montreal right now. That's about the closest thing to a SC300 5-speed you'll find in Canada.

Need help with importing instructions. I've searched through alot of the importing instructions and they all link to the government site. Is there like a dummy proof instruction somewhere? and how much should i be expecting to pay?

Like goto border with this this...wait this long. then do this with this and this in hand?

 

WOW, a canadien complaining about not being able to find a 5-speed SC?? You guys dont know how good you have it up there, you can get all kinds of cool cars imported, skylines,TT soarers, TT aristo's, MKIII supra's (twin turbo R),cheaper MKIV supra's etc..... guys here in the states would love to have some of those cars.
