btw the D is not as bright in my car too, i just noticed it not too long ago. And my car has 36,xxx miles, so i dont think it would be dimming from use.

Ok, makes sense. My car and yours are twins. Too bad, you got the better motor, better tranny....
Oh wait...I guess mine is the retarded and deformed twin, like a car with down syndrome
Damn bro, your shifter wood doesn't match anything around it. No offense to SLY, but I think YOUR 5 speed is more user friendly than his. If you look at my orignal picture, I love that the 3-2 down shift is straight down, where as the the 2-1 is over and down (harder).
On his lexus 5 speed, the 3-2 downshift is over and down, whereas on yours it is straight down.
I use the 3-2 downshift most, so I like the 4 speed gated and your MBZ setup better than the SC4 5 speed.

lol did you guys miss the very first reply to this thread?
no the cluster is correct. The non-D items are illuminated brighter so as to make you more aware that you are not in D. Check out your N, its the brightest of all of them. the D is dimmer green so that when you are actually in D most of the time, it will not be annoying to you as you drive.

i think the MBZ shifter is the same as mine, from 3-2 it goes to the right, not straight down. OLT PLEASE CLARIFY!!
