Not me! I think this is worth the price of the 98-00 cars (unless you are Tony and Gadget and did the mod on your car).

I love the ease of shifting side to side form 4-3, and just down to 2. Makes passing so effortless, and it looks so good.

Perfect match to my slow SC. God bless the gated shifter.

QUESTION: in my instrument cluster the 3, 2, L are a lot brighter green the the D. Is that normal, or does the D get faded after years of being lit?

 

no the cluster is correct. The non-D items are illuminated brighter so as to make you more aware that you are not in D. Check out your N, its the brightest of all of them. the D is dimmer green so that when you are actually in D most of the time, it will not be annoying to you as you drive.

I have a gated shifter in my Acura MDX...but I'm not rubbing myself over it.

The *****-matic does suck...but hey, if its automatic, gated or not...it sucks.

Get a 5spd, then you have reason to get all down on yer bad self.

The MDX tranny is horrible. I already experienced the dreaded v6 Honda trannies. Sigh

Yup auto sucks, but I wanted 98-00 for my second SC, and they only come in auto. All my other toys are 6 speed manuals, so one ***** works, at least it looks good.

You can do the mod. Look up gadgetSC or AcleanSC4 (tony) they both have it.
