damage appears to be cosmetic, but since it high centered onto the green there is likely to be more damage to the undercarriage. i was extremely lucky not to hit anything. the green area brought me to a very gentle stop.

TOTALED insurance estimated $16,000 to fix the damage. fucn rediculous. oh well, anyone selling or know someone who's selling a 5spd yaris hatch?
here are some pics a week before the attack.

Take it another shop or two if it's drivable. You should fine one that will do it for a lot less then what the initial estimates are. Take the insurance payout, buy the car back and fix it. Unless the frame is bent. Put the rest of the $$$ in the bank. Drive the hell out of it. It will have a salvage title but oh well.

frame is out of spec. too much of a hasle to fix or buy another sc. ga$$ is draining my wallet. it is fixable but i'd rather buy a yaris instead.

i had the car for 3yrs, been driving for ~7yrs. i went over the preliminary estimate and apparently the car JACKED UP. not only is the frame crooked but the floor pan and both crossmembers need to be replaced also.
