Hi everyone,
I'm thinking about to getting these wheels for my SC.
These are the GS MKI Sport Edition TTE wheels which was only available in Europe I think...not sure though.

Anyways, they are 18x9 245/40 and 18x10 275/35 (so was I told).
I have started a thread in the photoshop forum ( https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...13#post2471713 ) but meanwhile a friend of mine did a quick photoshop for me to get an idea how they would look on the SC. I hope the owner of the car doesn't mind that I'm using his pic.
Maybe someone can do a better chop without the white background between the spokes.
Anyways, what do you think?

Nope not feelin' them. The stoke 5 spokes flow with the car much better.
Also, I'm not so sure those rims were ever from a GS. I would inquire in the GS forum area. They look like wanna-be lexus rims to me. Never heard of any Euro sport version 1st gen GS either.

Those wheels were available at TTE. The MKI GS300 Sport Edition (aka GS300 T3 in Germany) was "tuned" by TTE. It was about 1,2" lower, had a sport exhaust and those rims.
It seems like that I'm right: The sport edition was only available in Europe.

Just because you've never heard about it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

As for the wheels if you get a good deal and they clear Big breaks i say go for it.
To me they seem to show the cars age and I would go with some more updated wheels(non stock looking).

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like an a$$ or whatsoever...no offence, but my question wasn't about whether they are GS-rims or not or if there was a GS300 Sport edition or not.
