Does anyone know how I go about removing the wood trim on either the driver or passenger door? I want to remove the trim right above the door handle. I did a quick search but didnt find anything...please help. Thanks.

I've replaced it with a sheet of carbon fiber over it. its easy. just remove any and all bolts that hold on the door panel surrounds, take apart the inner door handel. then on the inside part of the panel(touching the door frame) there is either three or four 8mm or 10mm i forgot bolts holding on the trim.

8 bolts to remove the door panel:
2 under the armrest
2 in the door jamb
1 behind the door handle
3 along the bottom edge
Take them all off then gently slide a screwdriver behind the panel and pry it off. disconnect the door locking mechanism and pull the panel away. Behind the wood trim are wingnuts that you can easily remove to take the wood trim out of the door.
