Thanks for the diagram.
Looks like A6 is Hot and A7 is Ground. I ohmed out A7 and it's grounded so that one is ok. A6 should be Hot with 12 volts and it is. That tells me my CC unit has truly quit working.
One quick way to test this without tearing everything apart is if your Cig Lighter fuse is ok then that means your CC is no good or it has a bad connection from Fuse box to the CC. Your Cig Lighter uses Hot after it runs through the CC unit. I noticed that because my Cig Lighter quick working after I unpluged the CC Unit.
Anyway, here are some pics. Now I need a CC unit.
Maybe a Toggle switch? Just kidding...

Wierd, I honestly dont think mine is hte climate control itself. Only because it was working fine before my motor swap, and I bought a spare, still no luck.
On that diagram.. what exactly is 4 - IG1 - 2 ? So if I were to follow the trail to the CC, all I need to check is IG1 and the HTR fuse?

Anyone know what would cause the Climate Control to fry. I fried 2 so far. Blew fuses on both the Htr and the Cig before it started to work. Works for about 20 seconds and quits. Don't know what to do now.

I just did a 1JZ swap and my climate control is not working either. My car is MT, and the engine set was out of an AT.
Are we sure that the only 12v on that circuit is the A6 or whatever was posted above? Can we just run a fused 12v to A6, and have it turned on when the car is on either through a relay or jumping the 12v from something with power on when the car is on??
I'm still a n00b with relays but I think I could do it now that I helped my friend manually wire a starter relay... SC now starts with a key!!

I checked all my fuses today and they were fine. The buttons on the climate control light up, but nothing else works. The main thing I did that most people dont do is swap the AC units out. Most people just unbolt their AC and move it out of the way so they dont have to recharge it. I used the unit on the 1jz since it was brand new.
I hope we find a fix, because it is starting to rain here and when my windows are up it gets a little sweltering inside the car.

Intersting, I have 2 climate controls, one lights up but wont turn on, and the other dosent even light up.
Anyway, here is a post that contains the SC3 manual, hopefully someone can figure this out.
Download it, hit bookmarks, and goto the AC section.
