oooo... looks VERY interesting.... I may be placing an order VERY soon ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If you don't mind answering, what exactly is changed with the ECU upgrade (fuel ratio?, etc)? The reason I ask is because I want to do the SRT air intake and ECU piggyback option and don't want the two to interfere.
Anything done to the rev limiter? I know this car can safely do at least 500 more RPM. What year SC is this upgrade good for?
You say that you can feel the upgrade more than the torque converter, well the torque converter improves the 1/4 mile by .7 of a second (or so i hear), is it similiar performance wise?
It shows that it costs extra to have the nitrous mod on it, how much extra (I may do nitrous in the future)? is anything else needed to be done for certain mods? how do you change over to the different program with the wires? anyway of using a switch instead of having to take it apart?
btw, i didn't realize how huge that ECU is![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
thanks

I went to a dealer this week and asked them about some TRD parts for my SC300 and he said that they don't have any, but TRD is working on a ECU upgrade, suspension, sway bar, etc etc. Very interesting.

The computer upgrade is different fromt the torque converter because you can feel it at different ranges. The torque converter basically only effects off the line. I have both and they work really good in conjunction with eachother. Let me know when your ready, we can't do it at this price for much longer.

smooth8,
To get the computer upgrade do I need to send the ECU to you, or is it something that can be done by me?
If I need to send the ECU in, is it possible to get the ECU from you, swap it, and send mine back to you?
Will the upgrade "learn" to adjust for more HPs after installing the new components, for example a new intake?
How soon can you get us some dyno information?
Thanks,
Chris K.

![Question](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Does this do away with the adaptive part of the ECU? What exactly is modified ( ignition , fuel etc... and how much is it modified ? Are you going to dyno or do you have some type of estimate on the hp & tq gains

What is it that you're changing? How do you get around adaptive mode? and for those of us who are good with electronics, can you just send me the thing and soldering instructions so I don't have to wait?

I guess I am like the rest that are asking. What exactly does this ECU upgrade do specifically? Would be interested if, you could explain. Also, do you have any real world results about acceleration and the like?

The specs of the computer upgrade are simple.
The timing is advanced to a program written by Japanese tuners that spent hundreds of hours on the dyno and off with the soarer/sc400
We will be on the dyno soon. We are very busy.
We have many orders setup so you will hear some results from customers soon.
If you would like to order, please do so as soon as possible because the price will be going up. Let us know the date we will receive your computer, so we can arrange to have it done that same day.
All I know is that I have taken 3 different people for a ride to see if they felt the difference before and after the reprogramming.
They all said the car pulls much harder off the line and on the top end. They said it was an obvious difference. If you want me to tell you every rpm range that we modify and sections of the program sectors, I can't do that. Don't know how much horsepower, but I have left many cars that I couldn't pull away from off the line, in the DUST!
To me it out performed installing the torque converter, intake, heatshield, exhaust and other little mods all together.
Anyone near Redondo Beach, CA please join me for a ride and see for yourself.
