Default My latest MOD...SO SIMPLE

What up guys/gals, I just got my first mod the other day. It's a simple upgrade. Injen short ram intake. Here are some picture of the intake and the rest of my car. Any comments or flames are welcome. I know she is in 4x4 mod right now. I have coil-overs for her. Just haven't had the time of day to put the on. All work and no play. Also had a chance to open up the headlight and get the water out. So i took the oppertunity to "black out" my headlights. What are you opinions about that. Kinda ricy? just right? could do without ? It's grown on me. But i wish my headlights were more clearer.

i have the same intake sitting in a box at my house. im debating on whether or not i am going to install it. i heard it does nothing for your car.

your car looks really nice but what happen to your door moldings? they are missing..
also thats not your first mod if you have wheels and rain deflectors lol

I had tired every intake type on my sc, ingen, a k&n filter with universal adaptor, bfi. In my opinion the bfi is the best bang for the buck and it our performs all the other intakes available. If you go look on http://www.lexusaustralia.org/entry.htm you will find some very useful info, they tested all of the current intakes and the bfi was still shown to be the best.

LOL i meant wheels and the rain deflectors are a real mod. Thats like second nature(the wheels that is). The rain deflectors are just something that i got a great deal on and couldn't pass up. TO be honest with you. The intake doesn't really do to much. The low end is the most that is improved. The top end feels alittle slower from 60-80mph. Doesn't feel as fast. But i am debating on keeping the V8 or drop a 2jz-gte. I have the 2j on a engine stand just waiting for me to drop it in something. But if i do keep the 1u then i will get 4-1 headers to make up some top end. and a full exhaust..

Looks nice but I'm not feeling the headlights, they look filthy. I would recommend buying some crisp new ones and put on a 97+ oem kit

eh i am going with a Bomex kit. from Luxurymods.com. LM calls it the Big mouth ?? I will get new headlights. It looks like these headlights have seen the end. So i will just need the 97+headlights,Highs,Fogs.

thats a pretty penny for a bomex kit with all new lights. if you're gonna spend that much you might as well just swap to the 2jz-gte instead.

I am actually looking for a Supercharger. I see alot of people droping 1's and 2's like there is no more. I have 2 my self. One in my Supra and the Supra's spare engine. I don't want a stupid amount of hp with the SC. I have a stupid fast car... So this Sc is my daily. I just want a moderate 500 out of the 1u. Yes i know. I am going to forged everything just like my 2j's are. Anyone know of anyone selling a bolt on super kit ?

Try using some Meguiars Plastx on those headlights, might make some sort of difference.

your stock intake with a whole cut in the front. I was thinking about doing that and leaving the Metal Injen pipe on. But i am starting to like the sound that the intake makes. And right before redline it gets stupid loud. Kinda like a supercharger. Just alot slower.
