Default crusing speed Vs. MPG

At what speed do you guys save the most gas? I noticed that @ 55 mph i seem to save good amount of gas. on average city/High i get 19.33 mpg driving very easy(no hard take offs and nothing over 65 mph on the highway... What about you guys?

For some reason I would think 65 mph on the freeway save gas, but for me it seem higher mph save more gas. Also it seemed like I get more mpg in the city, its weird. I get at least 300 miles to the tank.

280 mi. in the city driving hard is what I get also-- (just got it-- and I used to drive a 4 banger-- heavy foot)

Mine is a 92 w/ 154k -- but it runs very sweet-- motor is smooth and strong

55 is usually the best MPH for saving gas due to air resistance. But another factor is gearing.

At 55 i can get about 27-29mpg (gotta love the 5 spd auto)

Don't the rest of you have the MPG feature where your temp display is? My sc has it...

I don't think that was an option on my '95.
