Exclamation New Pics Finally!

I finally got ahold of a camera and took photos of my 1992 Lexus SC300. I waxed it and polished it to the best of my ability and I put some rubbing compound on it to fill in scratches and it looks almost as new as when it was bought in 1992. ENJOY:

Have you guys ever thought that everyone is not into the tuner look? if this person owned this car since 92' I doubt they are into all of that if they have left it stock this long.

well since he posted the pictures for everyone to see wouldnt you assume he was looking for other peoples opinions, not that he has to go do everything that we say because they are just that; opinions. i know that when i post pictures or ideas its to get feedback and opinions, that doesnt mean i have to listen to any of them, its just new ideas that maybe i havent thought of

Well the mileage is at 181,000+. I don't have money for rims but it IS in the plan, I will be buying the 2JZGTE engine later on, new Springs and/or Coilovers will be on the list too. Also some KYB struts? I don't know much about all of the upgrading on this car as It has fifteen years behind it. Car modification has changed SIGNIFICANTLY since 92'. I recently installed the exhaust tips about 7 monthes ago, as a temporary mod, although I like them now. I'd rather have the ones that came with the SC originally but those rusted out and were weathered so I pryed them out and inserted these. Overall this car has been the best car I've ever had the pleasure of owning, and a worthy investment indeed. Sadly, I'm not the original owner, as I would have taken UTMOST care for a car I payed $45,000 for. I'm planning on putting NEW pinstripes in the original location they're in. The SC without the pinstripes just looks even more stock and less of a "sport car" look in my opinion. I personally replaced the audio system for the car with 1 yr old Pioneer speakers and matching Pioneer head CD player/AM-FM radio unit 2 monthes ago. I have also replaced the original halopgen lights in the front with Xenon bulbs. I believe that answers some questions. ALL opinions and feedback are accepted without necessarily being agreed upon, so it's ok for you guys/gals to comment and reply to changes and modifications I do or plan to do for the sc.

The Lexus SC is one of the few cars you can drive freely and comfortably in while it's stock AND tuned, yet you feel it's compelling to drive this beautiful car even if it's stock because it makes you feel old? It's not really outdated either, It has so many features that alot of the cars today have. For EXAMPLE: Trip Odometer = Can you name another car out of the top of your head that had THAT in 1992? It even gives decimal values(137.8mi) Other ones are: ECT-NORM switch, FULL LEATHER UPHOLSTERY, a special light that tells you a bulb in your tail light(s) is out, and an Inline 6 225 horsepower 3.0 litre STOCK engine. I'm not picking on you, but there is nothing wrong with a 15 year old STOCK SC that throughout it's 15 year life it has NEVER once had a single problem at all, while some cars cannot go 5 years without visiting a mechanic. Although it's who drives the car and maintains it that is responsible there, but everything applies since only the rotors and brake pads have been replaced on this car due to them wearing out. I will look into those spring though

**ALSO** As you have noticed, the front bumper needs a new paint job. That will come sooner than later when I get more money in. I'll keep you posted w/ pics on the progress.
