Royal Sapphire Pearl

Royal Sapphire Pearl
Anybody seen this color? Is it bright blue or more of a purpley blue? I've found a car in this color, but I'd hate to drive 1000 miles just to see that its purpely blue, not a bright royal blue.

Cool. I saw that pic on AutoTrader too....I was just wondering if the color in person is true to the picture.
Louder than SI blue...good. My ex had a blue Si....I wasn't swept away by the color...or the engine for that matter. Thanks guys.

when i went to the lexus dealer for my sc, they only had the royal sapphire pearl, black and diamond white pearl... i chose black though i'm a little biased to black.
saw the royal sapphire pearl and in my opinion:
1)in direct bright sunlight, it had a hue of purple and a base of blue. very LOUD for a lexus. in pictures, it looks blue, but in real life, more purple than blue.
2)at night, it looked blue, not purple.
3)it isn't that blue you see on the is300 (took a test drive).
you should take that long drive because only "you" will know for sure...plus, you might be kicking yourself later if you do like it but didn't get it.

Yeah, my car's the green also. It is a weird paint, but it does wash up nicely, doesn't show scratches like black does and everyone I've talked to has been suprised that my car is a '93. I'm still going to repaint it eventually, when it's beat enough. I'll also replace all the outside trim.
