ive been looking into getting carbon fiber or dry carbon fenders trunk and hood for a while..and id like to paint them..would these parts be light enough to imporve my performance..and how durable are they

dry carbon is the best stuff you will find. its also known as pre-impregnated fabric. It will be the hardest yet most flexible of all mixes but expect to pay 5x for the same part as it would be wet lay ( normal carbon hoods) or vacuum bagged goods. look to spend around 5k for hood, doors, fenders, and trunk in dry carbon.
