ive been looking into getting carbon fiber or dry carbon fenders trunk and hood for a while..and id like to paint them..would these parts be light enough to imporve my performance..and how durable are they

do a search, i believe this has been covered quite a few times before. somebody also makes carbon doors.

dry carbon is the best stuff you will find. its also known as pre-impregnated fabric. It will be the hardest yet most flexible of all mixes but expect to pay 5x for the same part as it would be wet lay ( normal carbon hoods) or vacuum bagged goods. look to spend around 5k for hood, doors, fenders, and trunk in dry carbon.

regular carbon fiber hood and trunk will lighten and improve perfomance, i.e. less curb weight, i would have them myself plus paint job, if my finances would allow.

thanks so wahts the story witht he heavy doors..is it the outter skin and weighs a ton or is it every inside the door
