So if i take off the Black strip will i have the same basic look?
I know the grill bars in front are a bit diffrent but i am more interested in the side profile. I am not sure if that 92-94 Front bumper looks "flat" (on bottom)if you take off the strip, or slightly rounded like the 95-96.

Has anyone ever done this? if so please post pics,

I have searched and see a few post about puting the little black lip ON a 95-96 and 1 or 2 about taking it off - but no one actually says if it will look the same (basically)? Just looking at it you'd think that the lip is screwed to a flat surface which would make the bottom look flat when taken off (aka unnatural). Or is the little black lip bolted IN FRONT of the smooth conture and is hiding it- so it will be contured when u remove the lip? somebody has to know. I got the diagram on removal from the search but it is no help on this particualr question.

Whats confusing me is that i see a LOT of 92-94 SC400/300's with front bumpers that look just like the 95-96. But they cant all be replacements right?

The fog light issue is of no concern to me. I just want that smooth look NOT the flat black lip thing in front.

 

When you take the front lip off. the sides that round out to the bottom of the car is going to be cut and you will have 3 holes per side. You have an sc400 92-94.You want a bumper 92-96 sc300 or 95-96 sc400 bumper. People would give there first born for that lip.

You need to paint that lip. There's people retrofitting that lip to '97+ SC's...

 

I dont like the lip - its ugly.

take it off and sell it to someone here, you’ll be able to make a pretty penny for something that you have no use for.
