I see the 97+ tails are a part of the new group buy, and I am considering the swap into my 96 SC400. I searched and scanned every thread on a topic related to 97 tail light conversions, but got no definitive answer as to what needs to be done to not only eliminate the hyperblink but also the dash warning light.
What exactly are the modifications that will need to be done to avoid the hyperblink and the dash warning light when swapping 97+ tails to a 96 SC400?
Thanks...

I upgraded to 97 tail lights from 95.
First of all, I do not have a problem of fast blinking turn signal.
95 and 96 year SC do not have fast blinking turn signal problem becuase these models have more light bulbs than pre 95 models.
I did have a light bulb warning lights on all the time. I just removed the warning light bulb when I had to pull out the gauge cluster. I was driving it more than an year with this lights on. It didn't bother me much.
You can buy the 97 module for not getting the warning lights on. It is more than $200 if you buy new one.
