Hello all.
Just a friendly reminder to do yourself a favor and pull your trunk carpets back so that you can clean out the drain tubes for your jambs and gas door.
This time of year with all the fine airborne particles like pollen ect. ect. and all the rainy weather, you may find yourself like i did with an inoperable factory amp, and a gallon or so of water in your trunk.
During this ordeal i did a little research on what options i had. I discovered that for those of us with factory nak systems this can prove to be an especially expensive oversite if you wish to maintain a stock configuration.
Luckily for me after taking everything apart, cleaning, drying, and reassembling, the system came back to life.
Please, save yourselves some frustration, and clean out all the drain tubes in your trunk. it's very cheap insurance, especially if like i did you find $1.20 in loose change swimming in a pool of water at the lowest part of the quarter panel near the drain tube exit before it causes a rust issue.
