Do you own more than one SC?
I do, as of yesterday.
My spruce 93 SC4 was stolen almost two weeks ago, and hasn't been recovered, and the ins. co. will wait until the end of this week to see if the cops recover it before they settle with me.
I found a nice nice NICE 99 SC4 to replace the 93, and I went ahead and bought it. It was just too nice to let it slip away. So, technically, I now own two. If the 93 is recovered, I will get it repaired and sell it.
If I do get it back, I hope it isn't too mangled, but I'm not holding my breath. The detective who has the case told me that when they recover nice cars, they are usually missing the custom wheels and the airbags. I shudder to think what a thief would do to the dash to pull the passenger airbag.
However the whole thing works out, I'm the owner of two SC's for at least the next week. I didn't voluntarily decide to own two, but that's the way it goes. So, who here did make the decision to get a second one? One for luxury and one for speed? One for a daily driver and one for the drift track? One stocker, and one pimped out?

99 sc4, very nice ride! I'd like to have one, but two is enough for me. If I ever replace my 93's with a 99 I'm going to sell them both at the same time as a package deal. Likely though, I'd go ahead and get an RX330. With one of my sc's having the 99 conversion already I wouldn't feel like I'd be getting much more trading 2 for 1.
It is more likely I'll sell my Sandstone SC and keep my first black one with the conversion. I was considering trading my mercedes and the sandstone sc in for the RX330.
Too many options.......

I wish... I've owned in total 2 Soarers though (93 twin turbo and my current 97 single turbo), may pick up a late 96 non-turbo next year as well (the missus wants one now... I convinced her hahaha).

I have a silver spruce/spruce 92 sc 3 (223k) that I have had since may 2000 and I just bought a plat/black 98 sc 4 (78k) back in Dec 06. I bought the 98 b/c I thought my 92 was going to die on me but it came back strong so I will roll that until the wheels fall off and keep the 98 pretty in the garage (still smells new-1 owner doctor owned in NJ ...cleanest SC I have ever seen)

I'll tell ya, the RX is one classy shopping cart. I got one as a loaner when my SC was being serviced, and I drove it for a couple of days. It's a very refined ride, smooth and powerful (enough). So quiet it's spooky. If I was a mom with a kid or 2, I'd go for the RX!
But the whole midsize SUV segment doesn't make it for me. I felt "perched" when driving it, sorta too high, an unsecure feeling like the car is too high for its width. I felt the same way in my cousin's Land Rover Discovery. I just feel more secure with my butt a lot closer to the pavement, I guess.
To each their own - the RX is a class ride if you need that kind of vehicle.
