Default Beater SC or SC roller?

So I will be buying another SC300 soon. It will have to be a stick since I don't want to do the manual swap myself. Anyway. The car will be bought with the sole intentions of swapping the 2jzgte in it ASAP. So my question is, should I buy a running NA SC or just buy a Roller if I can find one that just needs an engine? Also, whats a good price for a 5-spd SC roller with a decent interior and body? I'm guessing $2k-$3500?????? Anything more the that and I can buy a running SC.

Maybe the whole concept of "beater SC" just frightened everybody off...

so what exactly are you going to do with the car, put it on the track or make it look nice. if i were going for a track car, then hell ya buy a rolling chassis. no need for a super clean interior or body.

Yeah, I have found some for around 2-3k, there is a running one for 3500, but it might have a salvage title which I don't suggest buying.

It will be a daily driver once the engine swap takes place. It might even be one before it happens thats why it needs to be clean.
