Default really weird window problems

Ok, so I don't know if anyone can help me with this, but the driver's control switch to put down the passenger window is acting real weird. The switch works fine to put the drivers window down, but everyone once in a while it works to put the passenger window down, but the rest of the timeit doesn't, however if I reach over and use the passenger control and just crack the window to start rolling it down, after its cracked a little, the drivers side control to put the window down works fine, but it doesn't work if i dont crack it a little using the passenger controls first. Anyone have any idea's what could be going wrong, cause I am stumped?

You have two options to fix your window:

1. Replace the window regulator. You can buy it from member "Aliga" It's about 120 shipped.

2. Do the DIY from OLT: Window Regulator Fix

I had the same problem. I bought a new regulator from Aliga and now it works perfectly fine.

Goodluck.

well I wouldnt think that it is that, cause it works perfectly fine on the passenger side all the time, and i just have to crack it and then the window works fine from the drivers side, so i think something is fishy with the electrical controls it seems because there is no problem actually getting the window down once its cracked. Its not like the windows do not go down at all, the regulators move them fine, but it seems like there is something that causes it not to recognize the electrical signal when the window is all the way up, if that makes sense.
