It's a powered sunscreen. My Mercedes has a button by the gear shift where you can raise or lower it as you please. With the severe heat and glare in the back window of an SC this would have been a godsend.

...and for my last request..... I wish they'd vented the sunroof cover. You have no idea how much this helps.......
I was thinking of cutting my sunroof cover and installing these vents in there.

First one I was asking if anyone had used an aftermarket one, located one in black.
second one provides ventilation for the car by providing a place for air to escape from the cabin into the drain tubes as well as producing a nice lighting effect in the cabin without having to open the shade and get hot.

About the sun roof thing, I just tilt it up and open the cover for about 2 centimeters back with the ventilation on fresh, that way the sun doesn't burn me, cause I'm like a vampire, I can't stand the sunlight and the heat. And I like it dark...

its a very overcomplicated design. lots of hoses and relays and crap. the side window shade asseblies weigh probably about 15 lbs each.

While I think a rear wiper would be handy, I think it would interupt the lines of the car too much. As it is, until I get it shaved, the stupid attenna does a good job of it.
As for the rear window, I have a very dark tint of good quality all the way around my SC except the windshield of course, so it deflect the harmful rays of the sun. Easy Fix.

I think they would be too big Dave. The LS and GS rear windows are much larger in comparison to the SC aren't they? I'm not sure you'd be able to reduce the width of it to have it fit the SC cabin?
As for the sunroof vents, I think you should be able to cut that and do it yourself, what I want to know is how to remove the sunroof visor ALTOGETHER from the interior without having to pull out the entire headliner
