I was Driving my SC back from S.F. and noticed the lights don't really light the road that well (I just got the car on the 1st) the bright lights are very very good, but the low beams seem to be more than lacking .. maybe they just need to be adjusted?
thanks
thanks

I think mine are horrible too. VERY VERY DIM.
I want to get one of those HID bulbs selling for around $20. Which ones fit our car?
9006, that would work right?
what else do i need to know about bulbs ?

I'm using GE SuperBlue bulbs for low and highs....got em at Wal-Mart. They're a TON better than the bulbs that were in the car. They don't look blue either....even tho their called superblue. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I just looked at the guide that was at the store. I got a pair for lows and a pair for highs.
I've had them in for 6 months now...no problems. I don't know how long they'll last, but they have so far! And they're nice and bright compared to the factory Lex bulbs.

in my experience (and friends) the higher wattage xenon bulbs burn out quicker. I've used two pairs of xenon bulbs, 1 set lasted for 8 months and the other lasted for 45 days. Same company, one was blue, one was white/purple. My friend with an accord ran higher wattage bulbs and they lasted for 6 months and another friend with an integra is running stock wattage and so far 9 months.
be careful with higher wattage bulbs! one of my white/purple bulbs (damn, these were nice too) almost blew up! There was a crack along the base and the bulb was half lit. In similiar situations where people have left them in... BOOM! Also, I left one of my burnt hiper blue bulbs in for 3 days, and it began to melt one of my plastic harnesses. luckily not too bad.
9006 = regular beam
9005 = high beam

I've been running 80 watt bulbs since a year ago... I had a set of eurolites burn out a month ago after almost a year. I buy the bulbs wholesale so I got 2 packs of street glow hiper HID look 80 watt blah blah.. they're brighter, that's what counts to me. I think the stock lighting is ok... nothing to scream about.
