Few things i was thinking of when i was in class today...

1) Lexus 1995 sc steering wheel is obscenely huge...
Has any one converted the SC wheel to a Supra three spoke design or to a IS300 wheel, think that would be pretty tight

2) SOOO sick of coming out to my car and it being 3000* in side after a day at work or class ( i live in Atlanta gets puurrrty hot) But i hate opening my sun roof because of bees or other things getting in... even tilting it is kinda lame...
Iv been thinking possibly putting some plastic vents with some kind of screen in that pull over clothe thing that you pull shut. cutting some squares in there and installing some vents and what not

3) i absolutely HATE the CD changer in the tunk... i go over a bump and it skips... (coilovers make for a slightly harder ride)
When your rocking out.. or busting a tune with the windows down... and your singing or raping away only to have it go suddenly silent... Yeah not the coolest thing in the world... was thinking possibly moving it to the glove box.. or even under the passenger seat, any where besides the trunk...

4) Maybe put some nice hyper white Leds in place of those dinky door lights to better light up the ground when you open the door... Or even somthing when i unlock the car from remote have some nice white LEDS light up the ground on both sides of the doors, almost like a neon kit just on the sides, minus the rice effect

5) adding an oil / auto transmition cooler, The SC has such a nice little front "mouth" so to speak, and already has some nice plastic air directors in place for it

6) Heated / air conditioned seats with perferated (spelling) leather




On a side note... found this out yesterday... The little button on your key, unlocks and relocks your car right? well push it and lock, then unlock, then lock, then unlock... it should auto start your car, keyless start =D simple stick your key in and your good to go, to turn off your car, simple push the brake pedal

6. I don't believe the seat thing is feasible. You would need to have vent work run from the A/C to the seats, as well as making vented seats from say a 3GS fit. Quite a big undertaking.

Never heard that about the keyless entry. You sure about that?

Just a normel key, no remote, the little black bump on the side there is the button. is there a way i can post a video on here or somthing? ill show you guys, its really cool =D

If you all are ok with it, i can upload it from my camra, but there will be no sound, i can show the RPMs and such tho

 

I'm totally guessing here, but perhaps the owner before you had remote start installed and wired to go on through the keyless entry!

 

he does claim it works on a friends as well, so who knows?!?! I do not have the remote opener on my key, so I am doubting that my car will work, but I am going to give it a try here in a couple hours.

As you can see tho, if you look closely in the begaining, it turns on all the lights, head lights Etc, starts the car, everything, Press the brake petal twice, turns it off =D

has INSANE range aswell!!!

I stumbled across this by mistake... was inside grocrey shopping..

came out, car was on (running) lights were on.. doors locked... i was like wtf?!?! then shortly after i was at my buddys house, (also as an SC but a 95 sc300 instead of my 95 sc400) and i locked my car, then was like oh **** i forgot my phone, so i unlocked it then i was like no its in my pocket so i locked it, then i was like well i might as well grab the charger so i unlocked it again.... Yes i know my tought process is ****ed up haha but then Bam! it turned on! tried it with his, same thing!!!!

 

Yeah whatever shop hooked that up did a nice job!! I had a '92 in '94 & no that was not a factory option.
