Galvin,
Glad you mentioned the needles. I didn't see these on their site. I am a bit concerned this may be an issue. I don't think getting the needles to work with the part that turns them on our cars will be trivial. I think new needles are one of the biggest reasons people want the upgrade. Enjoy your vacation, wish I had a cluster to send.

I don't think these guys are doing needles...they're just "indiglo" gauges...they even say not to remove the needles during install...
Needles are tricky as they need calibration after being taken apart...something that the average joe can't do...
But the "reverse" indiglo gauges look TIGHT with the blue light...too bad you can't get the rest of the controls (center console) to match the color! (well you can, but it's a PITA)

Ya I'm surprised that hasn't come up so far. Way back when I made custom gauges for my Elantra. I pulled the needles off. The speedo never read correctly again..lol

Theres a lot more to the story, but thats the short short version. And I've got a ton of polaroids of it, I'll have to scan some of them in!

Oh, knew that was gonna be a good one. An Elantra w/ hydros, never seen that, I assume you mean hydraulics and not hydroponics. Scan those pics in! We took the roof off my friend Damion's Elektra one day when we were bored and had the sawzall, worked great until we hit a big dip under the L, and the chassis turned into a, uh, V-frame.

Needle repair
Has anyone tried to repair the needle itself? I haven't taken it apart yet so I don't know what's involved. I would like to take a look at one if somebody has a spare.
