Default g-tech meter times....:(

OK..........this sucks.....I just got 0-60 on my gtech meter as 7.7 as my best time. When I went to the track I got a 15.9 1/4 so I don't understand. And there is something wrong with my suspension......it feels like a flat tire but its not...the car kind of vibrates and I just replaced the back springs a week ago. Errr.......bad night. I got my friend who just got a 2002 255 HP maxima to use the gtech and he got a 6.4 0-60 then a 6.2! I'm not too happy right now. The weird thing is.......whenever I race him its usually pretty close.........when we race from a roll its usually a tie.

Do yall leave overdrive off and the airconditioner completely off? And do you do "L"-"2" then DRIVE or just floor it from DRIVE?

Thanks, Adam

I just got your pm, looks like you're already finished your gtech runs.

The curb weight of the SC400 is 3655lbs.

I leave overdrive off and AC off. I'll brake torque from L, then shift into 2 at around 5700 rpm (takes a while for the car to change gears) and then shift back into D.

well scratch everything I said before! I just got a 0-60 time of 6.53. I took the computer out for 30 minutes and let it reset. I also let the car cool off for a while unlike before. I then discovered the bumpy problem.......My lexus dealership worked on my car yesterday and I went to look at my right front wheel and there were only two lugnuts in it!!!!! how messed up is that. I need to order some more.

You should bust out some spinning *****-slap moves on the dealer for doing that... that's really dangerous. I usually leave the car with OD on, and I don't attempt to powershift the car. I know it's tempting to mess with but I get best results when the foot is firmly planted. Dyno tomorrow!

You guys should really think about doing the torque convertor. That will improve lots of things.

Does disconnecting the battery for 30 min also reset the computer or should it actually be removed to reset it properly?
