Default ATTN: SC400 owners...We've got headers!

Just to let everyone know. Headers will soon be available for our sc4's. It's supposed to give around 25 HP total if you have an aftermarket exhaust already. No joke here. I think it's going to run for around $500 on lexussc400.com. I can't wait.

Smile SC400 owners...We've got headers!

Cool.. sounds promising. unfortunately I'm not into being innovative. So i will wait till some one else does it.

hmm. I wonder how fast in 1/4 mi an sc400 be with ECU upgrades, torque converter, exhaust, and Airfilter. May be even some dyno results would be nice.

I'm getting mine from elsewhere, but for those that might ask, do these come coated? If so, what kind of coating?

Does anyone know if header installation (actually deinstall and reinstall new ones) requires the engine to be pulled? Are there gaskets that are needed between the header and the block? Does anyone know the typical amount of person hours needed to perform putting 2 new headers on an SC400?

ceramic coating I believe. Coming from somewhere in Japan if that helps. ??? It is supposed to lower the engine's temperature by 30 degrees.
