I didn't realize that when I bought my 96 sc300 it came with a prototype gen 4 airbag straight from top secret testing facilities in Japan. This thing would save anyone's life in just about any kind of accident.

notice the high quality piece of wood for maximum head cushioning, just watch out for those wood staple!

and here is a before pic, lot's of R&D, billions of dollars I'd bet, went in to glueing these two pieces of wood together to make it look like a stock airbag was in place.

I just cant belive someone took the time to cut a piece of wood, find a piece of somewhat matching fabric, glue and nail it together. Then, they glued the wood trim in place and just set the top piece on and wedged it in. Very nice! Lol, I got a perfect airbag from Aliga for around $80 and now I just need to have my friend bring his scanner by to reset the codes.

LOL, my 92 does not have a pass airbag so when I stripped my 93 parts car I took the dash and all incase I wanted to change the dash to a newer one.
It was a good thought, but has been collecting dust every since.
