I paid $10.8K for the SC on eBay. It had 114K miles on it and I another 1K and had it shipped from FL to CA. Not a brilliant price, but not too bad for a 1999. Kinda hard to find the 400s with the VVTi. I really wanted one in red since I had a white car already.
When I got it it was leaking like a sive. Tranny gasket, Front main seal, Valve cover. It's a good thing my best friend owns a shop and he replaced everything, including a major tune up with fluid flushes. (Doesn't look like the tranny was ever flushed so we just did a drain and refill). No more leaks. But there is a whole bunch of little stuff left to take care of.
Mod plans include replacing the exhaust. Probably will have my favorite IC/Exhaust shop weld on a pair of magnaflows or borlas, since nobody makes a true cat back bolt on. Need to change out my sway bar bushings since it squeaks like a mouse every time the suspension articulates. Bleed my brakes since the mechanic who did the brakes in FL didn't bleed it all the way, (I have a half inch of travel before the brakes "bite").
I'm deciding to get the extreme dimensions V speed body kit for this car. How well does that fit? That or the RaceOnUSA Hiflex kit. Anyone got any feedback on fit quality? BTW, the front bumper, side skirts and rear skirts on my car are already spoken for....

You seem like you have good taste, so please do not get the Extreme Dimensions V Speed body kit or any other knockoff kit for that matter. The fitment and quality of those kits are just horrible. I know from first hand experience. You have a really nice car. It deserves better. That's all I'm saying.

Anyway, I have decided on a BIG WIN kit already. It's on order from Japan.

Update on the Soarer. I will take pictures when I get the car back from the shop.
The suspension has been replaced with Bilstein Shocks and Eibach Springs for a MK4 Supra. The rims that are on it now are the Racing Sparcos (refinished) that you see on the White Supra. (White Supra got some new shoes).
The Racing Sparcos are wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Sports. 235/40/18 in the fronts and 265/35/18 in the rears. The lowering is a little bit agreesive some there is some slight whell well rub, but it doesn't happen often enough to warrant rolling my fenders.
Some new update on the Supras as well. They all got Diana Godfather Fender flares and one is getting the Grains tail light covers. I hate having to play favorites.
