I'm curious to hear from the ones who've had paintjobs done to there sc300/400's.
I'd like to know the cost and quality of job done.
Did they use epoxy primer? flexible primer? An adhesion promoter? Anti-static treatment on the plastic/flexible parts?
I was also told that the materials alone for the job if done high quality should cost between 300-450.
Did the painter who painted your car, wet sand and buff the car to bring out the best finish possible?
Thanks for all information provided.
Looking to get paint job done in the fall.

every car will require different work and every bodyshop will give you a different price. i have absolutely no idea why people keep asking these kinds of questions. it all depends on materials used, how much bodywork needs to be done, quality of work, whether you want windows and panels removed or just want it taped off, etc etc etc.. you can do basic paint or metallic paint or kandy paint or some ish noones ever seen before. there are just way too many variables.
best thing to do is set a price you want to pay, go to different reputable shops around your city, and get quotes for what you want done so you have a decent idea of how much its going to cost for paint, bodywork, etc. yes its that simple.

I personally wouldn't pay anything under $3,000... Every shot is dirfferent though so sometimes cheaper places will do a better job. The best thing to do is go aroudn to car shows, look for a car that has obviously been repainted, and ask the owners of the cars you thought looked best.

I was quoted $1000 for a new front bumper (starting to warp at the bottom), painted and the right front fender repainted. Its expensive because its DPW. I think i'll live with the bumper I have and invest in suspension instead for that kind of money.
