Default Anyone have a rear diffuser on their SC yet?

Wow haven't posted or browsed here in a while... I had an itch to do something new to the SC so I'm back

Anyways... did a search and there was only 1 page of results, all pretty much contemplating the idea of a rear diffuser. But does anyone actually have one installed? If so... what kind? How? Where? etc...

I haven't seen anyone here with a diffuser yet but I'm not surprised seems like most people here are afraid to venture outside of the 97 conversion and tucked 5 spoke wheels.

cherplex - yea... thats why i don't post or browse here much anymore (no offense to anyone... i just dislike closed-minded folks)

AcleanSC4 - thanks... i figured that a return to the boards deserved a new sig haha. But lets do it... when you wanna meet up and start drawing up some plans? I'd have to make mine CF tho... yenno just to keep the "theme" going

poser - yea diffusers typically are universal... i'm thinking the same... a mk4 should be around the same size.... mounting points might be different though

I've always wanted to install a rear diffuser. But I wasn't sure if it really did anything or not. If you guys manage to make some out of CF that would be sick.

Does Ueno's or any of the "Mean Soarers" have a rear diffuser? I'm pretty sure one of them has to... might be a good place to start.

I always liked the diffusers like on the E36 M3. It's just a little lip that is very subtle, but makes a very nice change. The 97 kit has a tiny amount of lip to it already in the rear and I bet it could be extended at least 2 inches and still look good.

I was thinking about it but the rear bumper support runs right under the best spot to put it. I think it would look crappy with no depth right there...
