New Head lights!! (Rare Design)
#19
I don't know why people like de-lined headlights, I think it makes them look cheap. People always seem to want to do something different to the sc without realizing the SC is different from everything ELSE. Reverse engineering this is making it not look like an SC, but simply returning it to looking like everything else.

i think some of us who like that delined head lights can say the same with the 10 bazillion SC's out there. that all the head lights LOOK THE SAME! lol
this one would make it stand out/different (whether it be good or bad) than the other SC's.
i know civics and every other honda might have taken this look. but just because they have them that doesn't make it look BAD on the lexus. for example, the super duper high decker GT wing the civics run can be functional and look mean on a more suited car like a porsche or supra track car.

Got a silly question here...
How in the world would one go about delining a headlamp lense anyway?
The only method that keeps coming to mind is some insanely intense (and, might I add, evenly distributed) shaving, sanding and buffing - all by hand (as opossed to using a buffer, which likely wouldn't fit inside that lense).

the sc headlights look like dodo when delined because the inside wasent designed for it .it starts looking cheap because the background is smooth and boring

Sand and buff...repeatedly with different grit sandpaper. you can get a hand polisher and use that on parts of the lens.

Well, just wanted to know. I won't be doing it though.
I definately agree with those who prefer the stock lense look. The lines add character for sure. Just because people might grow tired of looking at them doesn't make them any less unique in the not-so-vast array of headlamp lense assemblies out on the market right now. Heck, for the final 3 years I had it, I actually started to think my 2nd gen. Integra was looking drab - but then I put things in perspective by looking around and realizing how unique certain parts of the cars design were.
Besides, when the lenses are well cleaned and polished they shine like diamonds.
There's nothing like a brightely shine set of headlamps to make an SC stand out.
