Sorry for the newbie? Here...lol, but I wanted to clean my lights up a bit. Wasn't going to paint them or anything I just wanted to take them apart and try to get some of the yellow/dirt out of them. Plus one of mine holds moisture. How did you take them apart without them cracking? I am about to get a set of HID's and slap those in there.

well, you cook them, then pry them opened. oven settings are here somewhere, but i think its around 200 for like, 7-10 minutes? i dunno. i just put them in, pry at them some, if they need more time, pop them back in. and, HIDs don't "pop" in there unless your doing a pnp kit, which i heard isn't that great and retrofit is the way to go.

try a search or a DIY for removing headlights and cleaning them... there are plenty of them.

well i dont recomend you guys to do this.. but i drill BIG holes maybe like 1 cm big.. like maybe 10ish holes in each headlight.. on the bottom.. and theres no condensation anymore >.> (after resealing and paint ofcourse) but yea..

btw on the resealing remember to take off all the OLD glue or try to take off MOST of it..

This sounds like a good idea, but i live in Tx....the dfw area right now is getting hammered with floods and all kinds of rain. So holes might not be the best thing for me........alot of cars around here are underwater.
