Default power window problem

my driver side window just took a crap (rolling up- still rolls down). the window switch itself is fine, it sounds like the motor or something. is this a common problem and if so anything to look/replace? i took the door panel off and was able to lift the window up manually (where it stays now).

thanks for any help

i took out the door panel so i can get access to see more clearly what is going on in there/problem.

do you know how much window motors are? if it is the common problem that fails causing these problems?
