Hi!

I'm new here and i'm from Sweden I've got a question for you guys since theese cars are kinda unusual this far north. Will I be able to fit a set of Varrstoen 200 series 18x10,5 et15 on my Soarer? All 4 wheels are the same size and it now sits on a R32 GTR. Tried searching but didn't find anyone with that wide rims mounted up front on a Soarer/SC.

I recently bought my SC 400 and it came with factory wheel locks but I dont have the manuals for the car or the key to remove the wheels. Thinking impact hammer at an angle but there may be a more civilized approach. Does anyone know if Lexus Dealerships keep master sets for wheel locks???

You will need to roll and pull the fenders depending on ride height, rear should be okay but the front will need more work to fit because of the width.

Then again you'll be doing a lot of work just for Varrstoens

You could try hammering on an old socket that's one size smaller than the lock, if it catches on enough you can remove the lock without damaging the wheel stud.

Or just break the stud off to get the lock off, replacing a wheel stud is like $1.50 in parts.

I just went through this on Friday taking my wheels off, my key was destroyed, you use a 20/21mm socket to place over the lock and reverse it out with a impact gun. You'll need something to bang the lock it will get stuck in the socket. I went to Toyota and they tried to use their keys but they weren't the right sizes.

Hi I have some questions regarding wheel and tire sizing. I've tried to read through most of the thread and was hoping you guys could chime in. I'm hoping to buy a set of Weds Kranze Bazreia step lipped from 18" to 19". Looking at running 19x9 +30 ish and 19x10+30 ish. I will be lowering the vehicle on coilovers. Wondering if much fender modifications will be necessary? (from what I have gathered it should only need a roll?) And lastly what tire size would you guys reccomend, if I want everything to work without rubbing and not major stretch? Thanks

ever since i bought my 97 5spd i'v been looking for a new set of wheels for the car, and recently have been debating what tires to use. this car will be na-t soon, and im shooting for only 375ish to the wheels (bc im keeping stock compression). I see a few people here are using the ACHILLES ATR tires, and i'm wondering how good they are. according to the American Pacific Industries website, the company focuses on individual strengths for each of their brands to maximize efficiency with the factories they are contracted with. but there is not much more info about them.

so my question is, how do these hold up? how is the grip in wet and dry? the price is cheap so im tempted, but idk if i should get these tires or spend a few more bucks and get Falken FK452's

im thinking 235/40/18f and 265/35/18r

]so i finally got everything mounted, the tire place didn't have any 265/35 in stock so i did a 245/40 and right now my passenger rear rubs like crazy, can't even have passengers. The fender lips have been banged but did not get an acutal pull yet. going to get aligned and run some camber in the rear to help out. What would be a good tire for the rear, i like the stretch on the front with the 225, but right now the car looks very old in the rear, almost as if the rear wheel is smaller than the front, when the setup is actually square.

also i need to get skirts and a front lip BAD, car looks very plain to me right now. :/

idk why the picture is showing up twice either

I've got Achilles ATRs and love them. They're a bargain, high treadwear (mine are 400), good looking tread pattern, and the ride is nice! I had the same brand of tires on my old Cavalier previously, loved them and opted for them again on my SC. My car is lowered on coilovers, with about a degree of camber, and little-to no camber wear yet and they've seen at least 3-4,000 miles. No problems with traction or grip, in dry and wet conditions, I'll gas it making a sharp turn and it sticks with no sweat. I'd recommend them!
