I was running 18x10 E35 all around on my last SC and that was pushing the front to the limit (running stretched tire also). I am afraid I might just have to step it down a notch for the fronts. Thanks again!
Anyone running staggered wheels on their SC. If so could you post some pics ? I'm thinking of running a staggered setup with some 17x7.5 (235/45) Fronts & 18x9 (275/35) in the rear but haven't seen many setups. Want to get an idea of how it would look.

there are quite a few buried in here but I found a couple threads with photos in there
normally when you say staggered around these parts its means width of the rim or even just tires, but I think what you are saying is called staggered height of staggered front to back. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...s-18-19-a.html
after going through over 200 pages. i am lowered and will be getting the ls brakes soon. i dont mind running a little camber. maybe down the road ill get overfenders or widebody.
what do you think about this. ive seen 18x10-5 done before here.
18x10-5 high disc 3.5" lip
18x11-1 med disc 4.5" lip

Think I can fit 18X10 with a 30 offset all around? I am okay with some fender rolling but do want to be pulling fenders.I am more worried about the front. Thanks!
Tires I am thinking:
F: 245/40/18
R: 255/35/18
Those sizes will fit.
I have a 9.5 + 27 in the front with a 245/40 and rolled fenders. a 10 +30 is only 3mm more aggressive and with the added stretch from being a 10" wide wheel should give you enough clearance.
The rears should be easy to fit with basic fender mods.

FYI....here is a 18x10 +25 I test fitted on front...I would go with a higher offset or step down to a 9 or 9.5 for front
In those pictures it looks like the wheels are still in the air, so they haven't been dropped down to account for the natural camber added once the rim touches the ground.

Nice wheels BTW!!!
A 18x10 would be 18 mm sticking further out than your 18x9.5 ....0.5 in = 15mm...
Also yes the car is still in the air....I did jack it up and it stick stuck out to much for me.....IMO 8.5 or 9 front and 10 rear is plenty....but I do prefer a meaty tire setup over stretched tires...
Also keep in mind th 18x10 +25 will not clear LS400 brakes....would need a spacer....making it even more aggressive offset

An 18x10 +30 would only be 3mm more than my wheel since offsets are measured from the center.
Here is a sample of the math:
1 inch = 25.4mm
For my rims 9.5 +27
Total rim width is 241.3 mm (9.5 x 25.4)
Zero offset would be 120.65 mm (9.5/2 x 25.4)
Backspacing is 147.65 mm (120.65 + 27)
From the hub to the outside would be 93.65 mm (241.3 - 147.65)
For the 10 +30
Total rim width is 254 mm (10 x 25.4)
Zero offset would be 127 mm (10/2 x 25.4)
Backspacing is 157 mm (127 + 30)
From the hub to the outside would be 97 mm (254 - 157)
The inner position will have 9.35 less clearance ( 157 - 147.65)
The outer position extends 3.35 mm ( 97 - 93.65)
An 18 x 10 + 30 would be equivalent to a 18 x 9.5 + 24 in terms of outer lip position. The difference is always 6 mm for every half inch.
I hope this makes sense. It's kind of hard to explain through text.

I was pretty discouraged when I test fitted my wheels without tires. I didn't think it would fit, but after the tire was mounted I knew it wouldn't be an issue. I agree that a smaller wheel is fine to run. I'm running a 245 Michelin ps2 on a 9.5 which is a very minimal stretch in the front and a 285 on a 10.5 in the rear.
Also keep in mind th 18x10 +25 will not clear LS400 brakes....would need a spacer....making it even more aggressive offset Brake clearance has to do with the disk type (height of the hub) and the spoke design, so the 18 x 10 +25 on your sample rim might not clear the brakes, but a different rim could in the same specs. Your note about the spacer is still something that is very important to keep in mind.
Thank you, it took me a while to get the math right to get the fitment that I wanted with these wheels.
today i finally finished the work on my suspension setup and wheels
installed BC Racing coilovers last week and she handles like a dream , the ride quality is still of a luxury coupe but without the wiggling on those high wall tires she turns tight and i love it
8.5X19 5X114 ET37 front
9.5X19 5X114 ET33 rear
with Bridgestone potenza S001 tires
245/35/19 front
275/30/19 rear
been along way to get this because its such are rare car here and the shops aren't selling these , so i ordered them from England after spoken to you guys about the setup
special thanks to Raine who helped me allot and advised me a set of 19 inch who looks so good with this big coupe
treat them with PoorBoys wheel sealer to keep them clean
and put a dice in the lip to give a idea about the width
what tire set up you would you guys recommend on 18x9.5+17 and 18x11+23 looking for a stretched look. car is lowered fenders are rolled but not pulled.
