I have had more expensive tyres before, the roads here are pretty hard on tyres, I am trying these Nexens out to see what they are like. I do about 25,000 km's a year and tryes don't last that long, if I don't like these I won't get them again.

Just a little bit more to this, I have just done a search on Nexen tyres in the U.S. and I can see what you mean by cheap tyres. Unfortunately here we have to pay a lot more, for eg. I found a site selling 255/40-17 n3000 Nexens for $78 U.S. Over here I paid $190 AUS for the same tyre and I got a discount. Our taxes push the price up on certain items and take them out of the cheap range and into the mid-priced range. There are also a multitude of cheap Chinese tyres on the market that I wouldn't go near with a barge pole.

Got stuck with two a while ago when the Nankangs I had on then suffered some tread separation after hitting a pothole in the middle of New South Wales, the only thing this guy had were something called Ling Longs, got me out of trouble, but what a crap tyre.

Things are moving a bit slower than I wanted, but they say patience is a virtue.

We are going to let it sit for a week or two now.
I need to decide whether to stick with the glass body kit, or just order genuine 97 skirts and rear bar.

Also picked these up last week to replace my worn out front seats, these turned out to be so good I went back and got the rear seat too.

thats nice and all, but I started Sunday July 22nd, and have been driving it for two days now (10 days)... Granted I didn't take the doors off or front and rear glass out, but even if I did, thats only a few more hours worth of work...

man body shops really do delay...

but I'm sure it'll look nice
