Default $5 to say good bye to any visage of the factory phone

I have detested the factory phone since the day I bought my SC. I can't stand it being the first topic of conversation with a new passenger. The phone itself has been removed, but I took the necessary strides to get rid of every last trace of the damn thing.

I made a thread in the past about how to get rid of the beep at start up in the event that you had removed your phone and were still encountering the beep. That was step one.

Rather, this is a thread to share the part number for the proper piece to eliminate the phone buttons on the steering wheel and still accomplish a clean deletion.

$5 for this part: #45187-24010-E0

Unscrew the phone button piece from the steering column and replace

Enjoy no longer having to answer questions about the factory phone

This one is really easy, but I like the results: clean and simple.

Nice! I always wondered why there was no cover there, but I never looked into it.

thanks for sharing the mod, but i personally like the fact that there was a phone in the SC.

only if you can hook up those buttons somehow to your cel via blue tooth or something that would be very cool!

I can sell you my buttons for the steering wheel if you are in need. You pay shipping and it is yours.

I know what you mean. When I had my BMW 850 everyone seemed to always want to order pizza. So I eliminated it once and for all!

Default Cruise control delete

Anyone happen to know if there is a plate to cover the cruise control switch?
