How common is hydroplaning with these cars? My boss swears up and down its a Lexus design flaw because he knows two people who've hydroplaned their Lexuses....nevermind the fact that they were two different chassis (LS 400 and 1st gen GS 300). He also says its a well known fact....I've yet to see any information about a widespread problem....anyone?

What tires were you using when your SC let loose? And what what their condition, ie: number of miles on them. Did the back end come around or did you totally break loose and slide?
