That’s really smart! My taillights were brand new when they got modded. It makes a huge differ ence. Plus, the used ones looks so nasty now. Do you have more pictures of your different modded taillights?
I started peeling all the old wrap off today and its such a pain. I’ll probably end up re-wrapping it just cause its less time consuming. Plus vinyl has come a long way since I originally did it, and I’m hoping I can find a better quality wrap than I used years ago.

I agree, it definitely makes a huge difference. IMO brand new tails are best to mod. Especially during disassembly.
The last few I made. 50/50 tails, and then two slightly different 97+ style. Both have tinted reverse, red turn signal and blacked out trim. One has a red ring around reverse, other is all black.

Removing the vinyl was a nightmare the first time I tried. If you have a steam gun, it makes it much easier. How long did your wrap last?

Those taillights look incredible! They’re all so clean and look perfect! Were the 50/50 taillights a new set as well? My old 50/50 set fit funny so I got rid of them. It’s been hard finding another clean set of 95 taillights.

Do you have any issues with the custom 97’s fogging up? My passenger one fogs up so I take the taillights off before I wash the car.

Here is a picture of my custom taillights. I frequently swap between these and an old set 95’s. I’ll have to find a picture of my set of my old red/clear setup and my black/clear 93 taillights.

I’ll have to try a steam gun. It only lasted a few years before it started fading.

Thank you, perfection is the goal. The 50/50s were a used set. Those are discontinued so used is the only option.
But no leaks, I reseal them so no water can get in.

The steam gun makes it much easier. I use the same method to remove window tint. The vinyl seems to only last a few years. I had some trim wrapped on my LS430 around the same time and it lasted longer than my SC’s trim did.

Your taillights are literally perfect. Your 50/50’s look like a brand new set. I’d kill for a set of 50/50’s that clean. My old ones weren’t as perfect as yours.

Thank you! I appreciate it!

I took that picture almost three years ago but the car looks identical except I took off the black vinyl window trim recently as it was starting to peel off. I may swap to smaller rear tires as well.

It’s a custom 3 inch Y-pipe to Borla Mufflers. It’s extremely quiet.

And the last suspension mod I did. Frame bracing

I've never made a build thread. Years ago a few people who met me said I needed to do one but at this point I don't think I possibly could. It would just be too much to do (I do have everything documented in photos going as far back as 2005).
I'm happy to answer questions if anyone has them.

It’s the first time I’ve posted a picture in 11 years. I planned on making a build thread years ago but never got around to it.

Your suspension setup is incredible! Everything looks so new and colorful. The interior looks great too.
