More than likely, the bolts that hold it on are under the interior panels on the pillars. Just follow the trim around from the inside. Just my $.02

Basically you just use a flat-blade screwdriver to CAREFULLY pry the panel loose, and there should be some clips holding it in.

if you are talking about the rubber weather gasket, just sack up and give it a tug. it is just one long tube of rubber that will come out with a small amount of effort. it will slip back in more difficulty, but it is not hard if you paid any attention when you took it out.

when I tinted my car, the weather gasket needed to be removed to ensure proper coverage of the tint. just tug away...if that in indeed what you are hoping to remove.

Here is a photo. I followed the gasket in red. If this is what you want, just grab, pull, and keep following it along the entire outer rim of the window until it is out in one big piece. I ran the pencil line down into the door since the gasket continues downward on both ends of the window to enhance the weather seal.

yes. 3M black out tape is cheap, effective, and requires neither mechanical skill nor knowledge of the intricacies of the OEM weather gasket. this is definitely the way to go.
