I hate the look of the 4dr cars, they just look like crap to me. Would never own one of those even after i get married. I'll just give my wife a suabru, cuz those aren't too ugly. i would already have a IS350 if they had a 2dr... and a manual transmission option... BUT alas i am sticking with the SC3 cuz she's beautiful.

i saw this one guys SC3 and that thing was slammed when it was parked, big chrome rims, black. He got in it and raised it up, and drove off. I want that style, so regardless of weather or not people will say that its VIP or not, the style is what i'm going for.

Just make your car whatever you want it to be and then come up with your own name for its styling since "VIP" is now too constrictive.
Sorry, I love wikipedia! Typically, usually, or have to be?
"VIP Style or Bippu refers to the modification of Japanese luxury automobiles to make them more fashionable and even more luxurious. VIP Style are typically large, expensive, rear-wheel drive sedans, though automotive enthusiasts use other cars like minivans and Kei cars. Once associated with the yakuza, VIP Style modifications now are a subset of automotive modification.
Characteristics
Cars associated with VIP Style usually have common characteristics; usually large diameter rims (usually broad faced designs) with low offsets that sit flush with the fender, exhausts that stick out past the rear bumper (although not so much emphasized these days), a full bodykit or lip kit, glossy paint and a lowered ride height (usually with air ride or coilovers). It is not uncommon to see extreme negative camber on many vip cars. Traditional colors of VIP Style cars are usually black, white, grey and silver."
That attitude was the genesis of VIP styling. Low-key, but luxurious. SC is the best of both worlds. Performance and luxury. Who thinks ANY Lexus is not luxurious?
Who cares?! Sounds like some care more about what people at meets think than what they think about their own car!
Break the mold. Go for it!
Who decided what defines "VIP" on a car anyway? There's a lot more to it than just "four-doors."
Sorry, I'm anti-label. Don't let people at meets define your style for you.
Hoebag - I am looking forward to seeing yours!
