Nice swap!
Clean too!

I hope owner has a few spare engines sitting in his shop....!

My friend has the FD with race ported rotary & T-88.
It will out run almost anything even Italians & Germans when it runs.
He is waiting for his third engine

negative 1 my friend.. some of you think hp gains are everything, but in actuality, it depends what the car was built for. i'm sure this car was not built for race, most likely for show considering he has 20" wheels, but the rb in the sc acheives amazing weight distribution compared to the ge motors.. for some this may be more important.

Since this is all about unique mods - does anyone make a carbon fibre soarer shell? That would be the ultimate in weight savings. With the addition of cf doors, hood, trunk, & a chromoly cage you could have a complete cf SC that would murder everyone @ the track regardless of the engine. Similiar to the (advan?) cf IS3/Altezza from a while back, yet w/o the JGTC flares.

Wow, what a chassis/motor mismatch! Someone has a lot of time, effort and money on their hands! Anyone have any ideas on the estimated weight of that car? High 2000's lbs would be pretty sweet!

Nice swap. Would love to find out how much the car weighs and some performance data.

I'm drowning in Haterade!

So nice of Arizona and Mitsuguy to show a total their lack of logic and common sense, also perpetuating the need to make vague opinionated statements as stamp them as fact.

How many fully built/tuned 20B's have you to boys made?

How many fully built/tuned 20B's have you seen race?

Lets compare # of moving parts, lbs of boost/rwhp #'s and the overall simplicity of the 2 engines before passing judgement.

Hows a 2.0l hang with a 3.0l? Big disadvantage, yet overcomes every obstacle.

How much does it hurt when you wake up every morning bitter and malinformed?

Easy killah..... You got admit, the general history with heavily modded rotary's come with a short lifespan. So yes the "Piston Heads" including myself, look down upon them as far as being great engines. Now there are a few built from people who eat, sleep, and poop rotaries...and they are the ones that know the do's and dont's of keeping that engine alive. I even met a kid who has a "Rotor" tattooed on his neck...He was the same way, Rotor, rotor, rotor.

Over all, aside from slapping a Ferrari V12, this is one of the most extreme swaps.
