One of my tail lights has a small crack on it.. So I do understand where you're coming from for an inexpensive solution. However, I saw those sets on SC in person today and they looked terrible. (Chrome trim tails on stock silver SC. Might have looked better with black trim!?) I think these tails could work with more flashy body work on the car imo. G-luck on modifying the tails if you are doing so.

You are going to really struggle to make these lights look good. I don't think it will be impossible, but it is going to take more work than just a little paint here or there.

i used red tint spray on the whole thing and then black tinit on the upper section tonight, it looks ok, you cant really see the circles inside unless they're lit up, its just all red, like how people put red tint on 92-94 tails. i think im going to take it all off tomorrow though and start over and see what i get, i'll post pics of what i did later

Believe me, if I had spent the money on these tails, I would be doing whatever humanly possible to make them look good.

Having never put though into them, I am not sure what can be done to make them look proper. But, normally, something coll will com to mind immediately with just about any mod. This, on the other hand, is a toughy.

If you guys want to mess around with some altezzas, I have brand new passenger side chrome one w/ harness from a project that didn't work out. I'll let it go for cheap if anybody wants to mess with it.

I am really feeling those lights man...Only problem is the only thing I am feeling like is puking... If you like them, cool But I think the only lights that really look good are the post 97 tails with the reverse lense smoked.

Try this: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...82&catalogid=0

They are located in your neck of the woods so maybe you don't have to pay for shipping.
