i think those offsets would be good, but i'm no expert

those are the same wheel specs and offsets i'm looking at getting, i was lookin at the chrome fr500's..

can someone photoshop some silver ones onto a sc? they don't seem like they would flow well with the sc but i love the design of them..

rex you talking about like angled shots to show how flush or not they are?

I like the way it looks, but not sure how it would flow with the color car that i have...92 red...dont remember the color code/name..but if someone could do a GOOD photoshop of these with the color of my car that would be great

I'm wondering now how the suspension i order would work with these replica specs..

TT KYB AGX, TT Eibachs...should be about a 2'' drop from what I have read..

but these replicas rims are:

18x9+24 front
18x10+22 Rear..

wondering what tire size, and how it will look...someone want to help me out?

Great info, I was thinking the offsets on Mustang wheels was in the 20's and even though some guys are running 9" wide wheels with ~20 (and lower) offsets, I prefer not to run that aggressive of an offset.

hrmm all the mustang rims i have been looking at are 22 and 24mm offsets..

either a 17 or 18x9 24mm offset in front and 18x10 22mm offset out back..

is that too aggressive? the 18x9 24mm offsets i tried on seemed almost perfect.

Pre-2005 Mustang wheels will have the mid-20's offsets, and for most guys that's what they want if not too high. I'm personally looking for less aggressive . The 2005 and up with the higher offsets should work for me. I'd like to run a 10" wide rear wheel, a 265 or larger tire, slight roll (no pull) and not "camber it in". I'll wait until I replace my "original" suspension that sits low from the springs having not been changed in 13 years.

ah okay, well i bit the bullet today and ordered some..

hopefully they fit okay but i think i'm gonna have to modify my fenders in some way or another..

i wanted a 17 up front and 18 in back.

17x9 245/40/17 +24mm
18x10 275/40/18 +22mm

i don't mind rolling or cutting/rolling, i just hope i don't have to pull them, i'm kind of afraid of doing that..

$999 brand new with tires, cant beat that.

my reasoning for wanting the two differnt sizes is, the way my car sits now on 17's i think the sizing is fine for the stock body lowered but my back wheel looks smaller then the front with both 17's...
example (please excuse the horrible offsets in the pic)

i would still do 18's all around

i got a white sc and i want saleen s style replicas in black(5 spokes). 18x9+24 and 18x10+22. mild tire stretch, roll/pull fenders, and maybe a spacer in the rear for ultra flush look.

it looks good, but I get the feeling that when ppl see the car they wont say "wow nice whip!" but more "hey, nice car with mustang rims". But I could be wrong........

yeah i mean i'll prolly have to raise my car up in the front a tad anyways unless i pull my fenders so i could have got a 18 up front, i'm a ex honda and s13 so i guess i'm just not used to the ideal of big wheels yet lol..

i think they will look good though, i mean people sport TT wheels all the time and i'll have 18 in the back..

i really wanted the chrome ones but i'm waiting on jhot to get a 1jz in still so i have to hold on to some $$$ for that..

the black ones would look awesome one white! you think i'll still need a spacer even with the 20ish offsets?
