2jz-ge ECU pinouts and DEFI VSD2
Does anyone have a picture or something handy to show me the pinouts on the 2jz-ge ECU? I'm looking for the speedometer pin.
I got a DEFI VSD2 HUD for christmas and I've gotten the tach part to work but the speedo shows 0mph.
I thought the speedo pin was the 2nd pin on the top row coming from the right side of the rightmost wire clip. Its a pink/white wire I believe. The DEFI setup comes with solderless connector clips and that might be the problem since its possible it didn't make a good connection.
Soon as I get this information I'll be writing up a semi-detailed how-to on installing the VSD2... Its a pretty sweet item. Trouble is, you get a double image unless you use this projector film stuff to cover that part of the windshield. And its also VERY hard to mount. The sticky squares it came with don't like to stick to Lexi-Leather If anyone knows a way of mounting that hoe please let me know.
I've seen the pinouts of the 2jz-GTE motor, but I know some small parts are different and so I need to check for a geniune 2jz-ge pinout to be sure. thx guys!!!

speedo wire
Hi!
The speed sensor output connects into pin 3 of LEXUS connector IJ2. This is a dark grey 2-row connector which plugs into the main junction block on the outer bulkhead in passenger side footwell. Probably best to tie in here rather at the ECU. You are right, the wire is PINK, and it will be the 3rd wire from the end, depending on which way you are looking at the connector.
Good luck!
