side skirts are a necessity if you plan on using a 97+ front bumper.. IMO it simply looks weird.

yeah i dont get why some people thing it looks so bad, its like saying that the sc400 front bumper with the lip looks stupid. Because thats pretty much what youre doing adding a slightly taller bumper like adding a lip. Plenty of people do it on different cars and i think it looks agressive. Now putting on a fiberglass bumper that is 3" bigger then the rest of body looks retarded IMO.
I'm plan on buying a 97 bumpers cover as well before my car goes into paint.

Out of curiosity, has anyone used the 97+ front w/ aftermarket sideskirts and rear lip?

It seems like the consensus thus far is 50/50...

Anyone else care to comment?

i would rather have the 97+ skirts before i put on the 97+ front, i think the pre97 skirts are horrible. but if you dont have the skirts then it will look very strange

The 97 front doesnt actually drop down as much the body kit on the spruce pic. I have just the 97 front atm and it looks alot better than the stock 93 bumper. Would it look better with skirts and rear - yes. Will anyone other than CL notice that something is amiss - no.

I hope there will be another 97+ conversion GB soon...I am leaning towards buying the skirts.

On that two tone SC posted a few threads down, i kinda like the 97+ Front w/ Aftermarket sides and rear. But then again he does have kind of a sloped stance. Still looks nice.
