Default SC's metallic paint

how hard is it to match metallic paints on an SC? I have a metallic sandstone/champagne/beige that was in an accident with the previous owner (rear quarter panel behind the driver side door). she got it fixed but now the paint doesn't match. I'm thinking of taking to it to the paintshop, but i'm not sure how much it will help. the color now is so very different, like SC metallic and corolla beige

its really hard to match cause the paint is old and did FADE..

the best way to match it 100% is to paint the whole car

My body guy taught me the only reason why new paint does not match old is because of the clearcoat..Old clear is not as dark or rich as new clear...Have the body shop respray new clear, this way the car will match..

the newly painted area (one that got hit) is a darker shade in color than rest of car
